2017 BMW X7 SUV

BMW X7 is a new vehicle from the German automobile manufacturer. We first received news about this big SUV in March 2014. And as we wait for the new car to hit the showrooms, we are optimistic that it will be a state-of-the-art motor vehicle. BMW doesn’t disappoint when it comes to designing cars, so we expect 2017 BMW X7 to have an exceptional exterior, interior and powertrain.

2017 BMW X7 – Body Style Changes and other Options:

The 2017 BMW X7 will share many design elements with the X5 and X6 as it will be built on the same platform as these two models. If you have seen these two models, you will agree with me that the new SUV is a stretched version of them. Its length is estimated at 16 feet while its width is big enough not to fit in narrow roads.

The BMW kidney grille will be available on the front side of 2017 BMW X7. This part is surrounded by LED headlights, and below it, is a sturdy bumper. Viewing the car from the rear side, you will easily notice wraparound taillights and a pronounced bumper. There is no doubt that 2017 BMW X7 will have three rows of seats. The automaker has already hinted at this, and the fact it is a long SUV, we should expect nothing but many seats. There will be ample seating space and cargo compartment to take off your comfort on long journeys. The funky cabin will feature leather upholstery, aluminum inserts and sophisticated components.

Moving closer to the driver’s zone, you will notice an infotainment system with a 12-inch screen. There will also be a navigation unit, an audio system and a host of digital and mechanical controls on the dashboard. Gear up for more tech features such as climate control and connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, and Smartphone integration.

BMW is committed to ensuring your safety and security is taken care of in 2017 BMW X7. Expect to see many driver and passenger support features in the new car. From basic safety features such as seatbelts to advanced security features such as keyless entry, the new car will offer great peace of mind.

2017 BMW X7 – Powertrain Configuration:

According to BMW, the X7 will be its first SUV to get a V12 engine. The 6.0-liter naturally aspirated engine will generate 544 hp and large amounts of torque. The automaker will also make use of other engines like the 3.0-liter I6 and the 4.4-liter V8. The former has a capacity of 320 hp and 300 lb.ft while the latter 445 hp and 480 lb.ft.

About transmission and drain train, we are sure to get an automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive. The car will come with enhanced mileage; fuel consumption figures have been estimated at 19 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. As for emissions, we expect the new SUV to give out lesser CO2.

2017 BMW X7 – Expected Price, Release Date, and Competitions:

What we are sure of is that the new BMW car will be more expensive than most full-size SUVs out there. BMW X7 price will be $65,000 for a base model. The price may go up to $90,000 for the higher trim levels. The car will be available by the end of 2016. These are the cars customers will go for instead of X7: Range Rover, Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX80, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, Lexus LX570, Lincoln Navigator and Volvo XC90.
