2017 Cadillac CTS-V – Stylish Exterior and Interior Design:

Just like the 2016 model, this all new 2017 Cadillac CTS-V Chevy will also be using a four door design. Its external chassis will just be like the previous versions which use the sedan formula hence making the car look sportier and more attractive. Expected changes and new exterior capabilities will include stiffer springs, firmer bushings as well as much larger anti-roll bars.

At the front most part of the car, the suspension will use two lower links instead of the all too common single link. This new design has been made in such a way that it will allow easy control of the steering wheel and the car in general. When it comes to weight, it’s highly expected that this car will be much lighter than its predecessor. This can perhaps be attributed to the V-shaped weight specific saving measures. Cadillac as a company claims that, this new model will be roughly about 100 pounds lighter than the previous version which brings the total weight to about 4,150 pounds.

Cadillac has been known to produce high-end classic interior and this 2017 Cadillac CTS-V model won’t be any different. The interior part is expected to be as sporty and classic as its exterior. It’s expected that leather seats which will boost large and rigid bolsters will be present in this car. The new seats have been designed in such a way that they occupy a much less space while at the same time providing more comfort to the passengers. High end communication applications such as bluetooth and WiFi connectivity are also expected to make a cameo. One great feature about this car is most definitely the dampers which have been made at standard level. They are designed to electronically control the car temperature using a modified heat exchanger which will be connected to the car’s transmission cooling system.

2017 Cadillac CTS-V – Strong Power Unit:

The CTS-V Cadillac will operate on a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine. The engine retains the common aluminum pistons, titanium intake valves, powder-metal connecting rods as well as an Eaton blower which pushes about 1.7 liters of air per rotation. The lubricating system of this car will be slightly different from the Corvette model which operates on a low supercharged dry sump as well as a remote-controlled oil reservoir. The 2017 Cadillac CTS-V will have a much higher hood which keeps oil starvation at bay. When it comes to acceleration and speed, it’s expected that this new Cadillac will peak 640 horsepower and blitz speed of 0-60 in just less than 3.7 seconds. Though the top speed of this car has not been released yet, it’s expected and believed that it could exceed 200 miles per hour.
