2017 Cadillac Eldorado Convertable, Design Updates

The new 2017 Cadillac Eldorado is an elegant car whose design looks and feels luxurious. General Motors decided to revive this once famous brand that last came out in 2002 and they haven’t disappointed in retaining the high-end status meant for a niche market. This will be a twelfth generation convertible coupe that combines a traditional look with a modern driving experience and technology. The Cadillac Eldorado will not be mass-produced, but rather will be a limited edition collector’s item for luxury car enthusiasts. Currently, much of the information concerning this car is based on speculation because no official press release has yet been obtained.

2017 Cadillac Eldorado – Design Updates:

The exterior of the 2017 Cadillac Eldorado will have the same concept as the Ciel and Elmiraj brands, with an elongated, flattened hood and unique vertical shaped front LED headlights that extend to the hood. There is a distinct sharp line that runs from the massive front grille that improves aerodynamics when this car is at high speeds. The ai vents for engine cooling are on the sides and they also have an elegant design. This convertible coupe gets a redesigned rear bumper and LED tail lights installed. Standard wheel size is 19 inches with wide wheels to support the wide elongated chassis.

On the inside, the 2017 Cadillac Eldorado will have many changes but still maintains the luxury and high level of comfort like its predecessors. The interior is furnished up of caramel colored leather with Brazilian rosewood and aluminum edges adding to the luxury. The cabin can fit in four passengers and all seats are heated, have quality leather covers and are adjustable. Infotainment has also been improved and made better and safety features upgraded. Satellite radio, an advanced navigation system, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and an automatic dual zone climate control system are some of the features in this cabin. There is a push start button next to the heated steering wheel and a LCD display on the dashboard next to the knobs that manually control the HVAC system and infotainment. Basic safety features expected are: traction and stability control, lane departure, collision sensors and multiple airbags installed on the front and side of every passenger seat.

2017 Cadillac Eldorado – Engine and Transmission:

The 2017 Cadillac Eldorado is a massive and robust car and as expected it will have a powerful drive-train. A 4.8 liter V8 engine that produces 500 hp is the power source. It is mated with a six speed automatic or manual transmission gearbox and also has enhanced braking and sports suspension. Fuel efficiency is not that great, but is an improvement from its 2002 predecessor and the wide tires and low center of gravity give it stability and easy maneuverability at tight corners.

2017 Cadillac Eldorado – Rumors Date and Price:

General Motors have not revealed much information on the release date of the 2017 Cadillac Eldorado but it is expected to be in the market by late 2017. The starting price will be $80,000 for the base trim with additional luxury features costing more. Because this is a limited edition convertible coupe, there will be no competition as production will depend on the number of orders.
