The Escalade continues to attract buyers because of its lane busting road presence. The 2017 Cadillac Escalade will be powered by the reliable and proven 6.2 liter EcoTec 3 V8 engine generating an output of 420 HP, a torque of 460 pound feet and a fuel economy of 15 mpg for city driving, 21 mpg and for highway driving. The engine is a push rod 16 valve with aluminum block and heads and a direct fuel injection system. The SUV has a maximum towing capacity of 8300 pounds. The engine can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, 0 to 100 in 14.3 seconds, 0 to 110 mph in 18.4 seconds and has a top speed of 113 mph. It can brake from 70 to 0 mph in 188 ft. This engine will be paired with an eight speed automatic transmission. It will be a rear wheel drive with an All Wheel Drive as an optional.
