The 2017 Chevy Impala is a full-sized sedan with an impressive design and a set of new modern technology features incorporated. It has been built with the future in mind and is expected to perform well in the market for the next few years. With the previous model released in 2014; the new Chevy Impala is perfect for the whole family with its spacious cabin that has top luxury features and an exquisite exterior. General Motors has also improved the fuel efficiency and reduced carbon emissions in this sedan while increasing performance. Three trims will be offered; the LS, LT and LTZ.

The exterior will see a unique and aggressive front fascia that draw attention to this sedan, the front grill has horizontal lines and a chrome surround giving it a sleek look. Sharp LED headlamps and daytime driving lights merge with indicators that stretch to the outer edges enhancing the masculine front design. Indented in the chrome bumper are fog lights that reduce the effects of reflective light when it rains or snows. For engine cooling, there is a single large air vent with vertical chrome lines to let air in. Standard wheels will be 18 inches with a wheelbase of 111.7 inches. The hood and sides of the 2017 Chevy Impala have sleek indented contour lines that add to the beauty of this 4 door sedan and the back has a massive chrome bumper, shapely LED tail lights and an improved exhaust system.

On the inside; the 2017 Chevy Impala has a simple, well-lit, spacious cabin that is fitted with the latest technology. The infotainment system consists of six quality speakers that can output 100 watts connected to a satellite radio and an AM/FM radio. USB ports, Bluetooth and WI-Fi offer other connection options. A LCD display sits in the middle of the dashboard and the steering wheel is heated and has a leather cover. The cabin is spacious with enough leg and head room for five passengers and there are adjustable bucket front row seats that are heated. The rear seat is split folding and has a center armrest that can be drawn. All seats have leather covers with premium cloth upholstery. Heating, ventilation and cooling is controlled automatically via a dual zone climate system. Security features also feature prominently in this sedan and include: cruise control, electric power steering, a voice activated navigation system with destination download and stability control. Optional features like front cup holders and child seat anchors have also been offered.

Under the hood the 2017 Chevy Impala has a 2.5 liter inline 4 engine as the base unit. This drive-train produces 196 horsepower at 6300 rpm and a torque of 187 pound-feet at 4400 rpm. This engine is mated with a 6 speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode available, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 8.7 seconds with the top speed being 132 mph. With this sedan weighing 3400 pounds, fuel efficiency has improved to 21/31 miles per gallon for city/highway respectively. The LTZ trim will have a more powerful 3.6 liter engine that outputs about 250 hp.

General Motors has confirmed that the eagerly awaited 2017 Chevy Impala will be in the market in the fourth quarter of 2016. Prices will start at $28,000 for the LS trim and $34,795 for the LTZ trim. Competition will come from other models by the same auto giant like the Cadillac XTS.
