Since its inception, the Mini brand has grown tremendously and over the years, the number of models has multiplied while the cars are getting bigger and bigger. The biggest model from Mini is Clubman, and for the first time, this model was produced in 2007. Upcoming 2017 Mini Clubman is the second generation, and it is expected to be the biggest so far. Upcoming Clubman will be 17.2 inches longer than Cooper Hardtop with two doors as well as 10.9 inches longer than Cooper Hardtop with four doors. Also, this model is 2.9 inches wider. Under the hood, forthcoming 2017 Mini Clubman will be powered by familiar 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo engine, that will be capable of producing 134 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. The Cooper S trim level will come with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, capable of producing 189 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque. The base engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission system while the engine of the Cooper S trim is mated to a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed Steptronic transmission system. The great news for the upcoming model is the availability of all-wheel drive system. According to EPA, fuel consumption of the new model is rated at 25/34 mpg city/highway. The top speed will be 124 mph.

The starting price of the upcoming model is around $27.000 while the release date should be by the end of 2016 or at the beginning of 2017.
