BMW M9 Review

Dubbed as the next supercar, BMW M9 will be the ultimate symbol of BMW’s 100th anniversary. After the unfortunate short-life of the M1, primarily due to its large price tag, the German manufacturer had to release a car that would compete with its competitor brands such as Huracan or the R8. BMW however did resurrect the mid-engined supercar with their hybrid i8 that was very impressive and fuel-efficient but not anywhere close or as fast to the R8 or the Huracan. This motivated the idea of the BMW M9 that would compete directly with these cars and cost even less. The car would be developed on the same platform as the i8, but would be faster and cheaper. It is logical to assume that BMW will do everything in their power to make this car special so as to set the trend for their future car models.

BMW M9 – New Exterior Design:

The BMW M9 will have a unique design and will not share many components with the i8 despite being based on it. The car will have an angular design with massive air scoops and straight lines giving it a cool design that resemble a 1980s super car. The M9 features LED headlights and rear lights, giving it a great impression and has only two doors. Its design is stylish with an extravagant exterior that features a stylish roof, a long bonnet, a short back and a sportier lock system giving it the look of a sheer combination of sports car and GT.

Inside the BMW M9, the all new design will be aimed at offering the driver with a safe and comfortable driving experience. It will have 2 seats with ample space in the chamber as the seats are adjustable to the passenger’s convenience. It also features a small shelf at the back to allow the passengers to carry luggage. It will also feature a charging system for your compatible devices and connectivity through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This is in addition to a music system to keep the driver entertained while on the road.

BMW M9 – Engine Offering and Top Speed:

The BMW M9 sports car will be one of the more impressive mid engine cars on the road with regard to its engine. It will feature a mid mounted inline 6 engines, making it the first car to have this kind of engine in more than twenty years. This engine will deliver more than 500 hp and 450 lb-ft. The engine will also be supported by two additional extra motors which will be powered by a relatively larger set of batteries. This should give it a total output of around 700 horsepower and more than 600 lb-ft of torque, while also being able to run for at least 20 miles on electricity alone. Additionally, the two electric motors will make the car a four-wheel drive. The M9 will have the capability to hit 60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds, with its maximum top speed exceeding 210 mph.

BMW M9 – Price and Arrival Date:

The official price has not yet been revealed but it is expected to be less than $250,000, in line with its promise of being cheaper than its direct competitors. If so, it would be the cheapest car to get a carbon fiber production that will make it more rigid, lighter and faster than its direct competitors. It is expected to be released in 2017 or 2018, before hitting the market shortly thereafter.
