Mazda RX7 2017 Concept, Price

The Mazda RX7 2017 is a brand new addition to the RX7 line that is still in the development stages. The new luxury car is expected to have a much better design than the previous model and enhanced power as well. The Mazda RX7 2017 is expected to have more details in its design, and a very sporty upgrade that will rival its closest competitors; the Subaru BRZ, Car 370Z, and the Chevy GF86. The car will be made of light aluminum material and have a total estimated weight of about 3,000 lb giving it better aerodynamics and fuel economy.

Mazda RX7 2017  – Stylish Exterior Design:

The Mazda RX7 2017 is expected to have a redesigned bumper, grill, and a new pair of headlamps. Although the overall shape and size, the grill will most likely remain similar to the previous model, the unit is expected to receive a chrome surround that we see on all the current Mazda. Underneath the Mazda RX7, the bumper side intakes seem to be a bit larger on rendering while the center section and the splitter will not be changed. Most changes will be expected on the LED headlamps as the slim concept of the unit is too exotic for an actual production vehicle. The production rendering has been rounded up with a standard hood and a Mazda emblem on its nose while also extracting the one at the grille. The rear of the RX7 will most likely retain most of the features the production coupe had. However, there is a high possibility that it will also receive a revised tailgate, a new diffuser, and tail lights that have been redesigned slightly without the ‘floating’ spoiler.

Unlike most concept cars nowadays, the new Mazda RX7 is expected to have a very simple and clean interior. However, Mazda will most probably end up changing a few things here and there, like the center console, door panels, and the instrument cluster. The center console is the most likely part that will get the most changes on the Mazda RX7 2017. A large display and an infotainment system is also expected to be included but it is still to be confirmed, whether the screen will be mounted on top of the dashboard, like many modern Mazda vehicles, or will be fitted into the center stack. A multi-functional wheel and a more comprehensive instrument cluster behind the wheel is also expected to be seen.

Mazda RX7 2017 – Under the Hood:

The Mazda RX7 2017 sports engine still remains a mystery as Mazda have revealed nothing about it, aside from the fact that it will be a Wankel and referred to as the Sky Activ-R which will incorporate a rear drive platform. It is still yet to be known whether the engine itself will have two or three rotors, however, most signs seem to point at the car having a twin rotor set up. The estimated power output will be 250 horsepower along with a 1.2-liter volume. The Mazda RX7 is expected to have an automatic transmission gearbox alongside a manual transmission system gearbox.
